Entry for :iconrainbowonders:'s mini-contest, she lineartized one page from the manga and we're gonna color it they way we want to practice shading and stuff~~

I decided to go for... anime like cell-shading, because I suck at that
surprisingly it came out nice and pretty <3

and then I started doing a freaking background
god I hate backgrounds OTL
Denika teach me please OTL

Cell-shading is the one they use in anime, when you have only 2 colors and they have "hard edges" against each other, meaning, they don't blend or mix making gradients and that... ugh I suck at explaining ^^; you can search examples or tutorials here in dA I personally think it's a bit hard because you have to know WHERE EXACTLY to put the shadows so they look nice, with gradiants and blending you can mix colors and add different effects
